My name is Lernwel Ang. By professional career I am a CG artist and technical director. I started working in the CG industry in 2002 aspiring to create my own animated films.
Working in the Grind both as a grunt and a TD, I became good at the technical side of things. But this had an unintended side-effect of maiming my creative passions in the process. I love the technical side, of course, but that isn’t my whole picture. So, this weblog is about the technical side of things, the tools I’m working on, the workflow concepts whirling in my brain, the scientific (or pseudo-scientific) bits. The other weblog is about the creative bit.
